Lina Marcela López is a soprano specializing in historically informed performance of 17th- and 18th-century vocal repertoire. Her career has led her to collaborate with renowned early music ensembles and conductors in Europe and the Americas, establishing herself as an expressive and stylistically refined performer.
As a soloist, she has participated in opera, oratorio, and sacred music productions, performing works by Claudio Monteverdi, J.S. Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude, G.F. Händel, W.A. Mozart, A. Scarlatti, and F. Schubert, among others. She has taken part in staged productions such as Viaggio Barocco at the Teatro Colón and has performed Il Vespro della Beata Vergine by Monteverdi, Membra Jesu Nostri by Buxtehude, The Messiah by Händel, and The Passions by William Hayes.
Her experience includes collaborations with leading historically informed performance ensembles, such as Ensemble La Fenice, Musica Temprana, La Grande Chapelle, Capella Mariana, Capella Panamericana, and Theatro dei Cervelli, among others.
